My boys go to a little school house up the street and they just LOVE it. Everytime I go in to pick them up, my oldest son is playing quietly at the table with the glitter sparkle play dough. I finally had to ask them about it because it definitely didn't look like PlayDoh brand.
They photocopied their wonderful -- super soft not-so-stinky and toxic -- recipe.
We had a super busy day today. I was solo with my boys from 8a to 8pm this cold Saturday and we made the best of it. Before a 6 year olds birthday party at a beautiful park, we went to my mom's house for a play dough making morning.
The dough was really easy to make and was usable just 5 minutes after it was all mixed and kneeded. We used all of my mom's kitchen utensils to create elephants, crazy hair, weird ears and much more.
NOTE: Instead of adding food dyes, which can be toxic, we used a pomegranate juice {from half of a real pomegranate} for color. And you can add glitter, too.
